Hi there! Let's get to know each other a bit better...sans the boring resume fluff.

I'm a full-time freelance writer based in cool yet quirky Austin, and I help businesses and publications tell fascinating stories, be it feature articles or short promotional messages, in print, online, and via email. Since jumping into freelancing in 2013, I've written articles, blog posts, marketing materials, product descriptions, and much more for clients like Costco, eBay, U.S. News & World Report, Brit + Co, Pizza Today, CultureMap Austin, and Hey Cupcake!.

I've traveled to England, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, 29 states, Canada, and many tropical islands, and I packed everything I owned into a 2006 Hyundai Tucson and drove from Blacksburg to Phoenix for my first job. I also am a biscuit and waffle aficionado and will always order them if they're on the menu.

I graduated early and Cum Laude from Virginia Tech, but honestly, I've been a Hokie since birth. There's even old school 1993 video footage of me holding up a t-shirt when I could barely read, exclaiming, "Virginia Tech Hokies!" It in fact said Massachusetts Institute of Technology...but that's what get when you're a born-and-bred Hokie. I also have two wild and loving pit bulls who are black holes of pets; you literally cannot pet or snuggle them enough.
